Day 2 The Fun Continues

While the boys had every intention of running, fishing and starting the day early, the house was SILENT until after 10am!  Yes, Ange, even JC slept in:)  At 10:15, I woke the boys in order to get them to eat and to get ready to go hit some balls out before their tee time.

Ready to tee off!  Melissa, J opted for working out, swimming in the lake and sunbathing.  I think he was very pleased with his decision!
After a hot 18 holes, Jason, Grandma, Grandpa, Meg and I joined the boys at the clubhouse for dinner.
Dorothy, a very special friend to Meaghan Grace, joined us for dinner at the club.

Forward to Go Karts...
As the boys prepared, it was obvious the owner (in white) and his crew (in yellow and blue) knew that this might be a tough group:)

Eric held the lead for awhile
 Brendan was most cautious
Ryan managed to pass everyone for the lead

Yes, a few eyebrows were raised by the crew at this point...
 Did they say “no bumping?"

The boys were very thankful that Grandpa and Meg were in the next group.  Grandpa drove VERY CAUTIOUSLY cutting off anyone who wanted to pass.  I do think the other people on the track for this one deserve a free second round!

The Traditions Continue

When Sean was here with his friends, Grandpa brought the boys to our favorite homemade ice cream shop and purchased them each a 1/2 gallon of ice cream of their choice.  The only rule was that you could not put the ice cream in a bowl to eat it.  You may use a spoon but you may not share cartons. The first one with an empty carton will be rewarded...
Each boy with the flavor of their choice
We returned to the lake and within 5 minutes, everyone was back in swimsuits and out came the trampoline.

A fun group!!

And, as I posted our pictures from today, JC caught his first fish EVER!  It was the biggest catch so far.

Tomorrow we are off to Niagara Falls and Darien Lake.  I’ll post again tomorrow night.
GOOD NIGHT!
